“Whatever darkness you think is coming when you turn the next page, it’s always just a little darker than you’re prepared for.” - Soren Narnia, Knifepoint Horror

"With artful revelations, poignant reflections, and entertaining flights of fancy, Ganje explores the transitory nature of life and its relationships in a way that seems cynical but not hopeless, and deeply perceptive while remaining utterly unpretentious." - Eldon Thompson, author of The Legend of Asahiel and Warder trilogies

“Big ideas played out in the lives and deaths of people much like you and me, ephemeral as a fistful of smoke.” - Jamieson Ridenhour, author of Palimpsest

“It is a slow creeping crawl… It embeds itself into your skin and the only thing that seemed to cure it is by not resisting the itch to scratch more at the pages to see how the stories would conclude. They were like Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark had a child with a Paul Tremblay book and this is what it produced… Seriously eerie, yet so damn sophisticated.” - Prince Jackson, Knight Light Podcast

“Ganje’s stories sparked the sensation of reading someone’s private journal. A doorway into the personal. I found a hint of mystery to each tale, but not in the way Nancy Drew would see it. A mystery of the interior. Undiscovered worlds.” - Marc Sessler, NFL Network

“The ink that dyes on Luke Ganje’s lines reveals a bold, seductive creativity, with a perfect handling of the literary form which allows the creation of stories that are born even from a constant flirtation with the Thanatos.” - Joel Juan Qui, pianist

There’s a point to telling these lies, I’m sure. I haven’t figured out what it is and yet I’m still writing them down, just in case I figure it out in time. In time for what, you might ask? Well, I have no idea. My five year plan ran out about seven years ago, so I’ve found myself living on borrowed time with all the grace of a drowning man who’s only just now started to wonder if he should’ve learned how to swim. That being said: All I have are my pages and these immortal friends. They’re what keep me going and what have kept me here this long, so I hope you enjoy them. Whether you laugh, or cry, or feel incredibly uncomfortable, I hope you find in my work something that is just for you.

I'm Luke Ganje and I like to tell stories.
